Beaches
Patara Prince resort private shoreline

Patara Prince resort has it's own private shoreline with secluded bathing platforms as well as a large open plan sunbathing terrace surrounded by olive trees and with sun parasols.

Kalkan Beach and Kaputus Beach

Kalkan itself has a manmade shingle beach, you can hire sunbeds and parasols, then pop into one of the many marina restaurants for lunch.
There are a choice of very good beaches in the area. Kaputus is one that is very close, on the Kas road, you can catch a dolmush, bus or drive, after you decend steps you will find a sandy/shingle beach and wonderful torquise water. There are no restaurants or facilities on this beach, as I mentioned earlier you can also visit this beach on a speedboat charter from Patara Prince resort.
Patara Beach
Patara beach is a 15 minute drive away, it's a beautiful 18 kilometer sandy beach, with dunes as a backdrop. It's an area of outstanding beauty and is a protected area as this is where the loggerhead turtles lay their eggs.
You will have to pay a small charge to access. You will find a small cafe on site.
If you walk 5 minutes up the track away from the beach you will find an amazing amphitheatre. You can climb the steps to the top and view the mountains, meadows, villages and sea, all you will hear is bird song and goat bells in the distance.

You will find a beachside licensed restaurant, offering light lunches, and now dinner under the stars! as well as Turkish pancakes, and beverages, a day well worth the effort.
